Martin-Baker is the world’s leading manufacturer of ejection seats, serving 93 air forces around the globe with mission-critical aviation safety equipment. A long-standing client of Pixable, our latest project for Martin-Baker was to reimagine and build a brand new website for the company.
Overview
With a history spanning over 80 years, Martin-Baker is still run by founder Sir James Martin’s descendants. Showcasing an engineering firm steeped in such heritage, alongside a proposition grounded on the cutting edge of aerospace safety required the careful guidance of the internal creative team at Martin-Baker.
Working in an agile project management framework allowed for close-knit collaboration between Pixable and stakeholders within Martin Baker throughout the entire project. Together, we imagined and developed interactive components and immersive experiences across the website that offer a unique insight into Martin-Baker’s lifesaving engineering.

A responsive and performant front-end that with engaging UX components throughout. A flexible CMS offering full autonomy to the content team to continually upload meaningful information about the ever-evolving engineering being conducted at Martin-Baker. Enterprise-grade cybersecurity and robust zero trust network protocols allows all team members to confidently access and manage the back-end of the website whilst mitigating threats around the clock.
